About Root & Wire
Root & Wire is a bonsai design studio: a place to plan a tree before you buy it, shape it before you cut it, and care for it with the seasons rather than against them.
Who makes it
Root & Wire is made by Little Jam Jar Ltd, a small company that builds useful, quiet websites. We are hobbyists, not a nursery: we sell no trees and have no stock to move.
The advice here draws on the Royal Horticultural Society's published guidance, standard bonsai references and ordinary practice, and every care line says which. Where we estimate, we say so. Your garden and your weather will differ; a calendar is a start, never a guarantee.
What is coming
A public gallery of designs. Then, if people want them, sections for terrariums and aquascaping.
